Kidney stones – a worldwide chronic disease

Current extraction methods cannot guarantee the complete removal of kidney stone fragments. Residual fragments have a high chance to grow into new stones which leads to a high recurrence rate. We aim to eliminate this residual based recurrence rate.

Dymium – residue free extraction using magnetism

Dymium developed a solution for the residue-free, minimal-invasive removal of kidney stone fragments. Our technology turns these fragments into magnetic objects which can subsequently be removed by a magnetic tool without the risk of residual fragments being left behind. All that while simplifying the surgical workflow.
